Fund Raising at Sea

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line

Have you ever wished you could plan a fundraising event that is guaranteed to get attention, increase your media exposure, generate donation dollars and offer attendees a really great time, all without having worry about all the little things that are required to run a successful fundraiser?  Well, Royal Caribbean International says "Why Not?"

There is no reason why a fundraising event has to be some stuffy, overdressed gala in a generic ballroom?  You can raise money, make a lasting impression and build a personal relationship with donors - all in your shorts and Caribbean clothing with our Charitable Cruising program, a fabulous fundraising vacation package packed full of photos and fun!

From 2 nights to more then 10, we will design a fundraising cruise designed to raise as much money as you need.  Royal Caribbean will donate between $50 and $200 per stateroom to your organization depending on the cruise selected.

Not only that, Royal Caribbean will donate one free stateroom for every 16 full-rate, double occupancy staterooms to your organization.  Just think of the possibilities those free staterooms could bring!

* They could be raffled of for additional fundraising dollars
* You could give them in recognition of a volunteer's hard work
* Your could choose to receive the dollar value of the staterooms as a contribution
       to your organization

1. Your group marks up the price by $35 per person/$70 per stateroom on a 3 night
    cruise.  Your group sells 50 staterooms.  50 x $70 = $3,500.
Royal Caribbean will match from $25 - $100 per stateroom for you organization
Let's assume that the donation is $50 per stateroom based on double
occupancy for a total of $2,500.
          Total funds raised = $6,000

The free staterooms can be auctioned off for an additional amount

2. Your group marks up the price by $30 per person/$60 per stateroom on a 4 day
    cruise.  Your group sells 100 staterooms.  100 x $60 = $6,000
Royal Caribbean will match from $25 - $100 per stateroom for your organization
Let's assume that the donation is $40 per stateroom based on double
    occupancy for a total of 100 staterooms x $40 = 4,000
          Total funds raised = $10,000
The free staterooms can be auctioned off for an additional amount

3. Your group marks up the price by $25 per person/$50 per stateroom on a 5 day
    cruise.  Your group sells 75 staterooms.  75 x $50 = $3,750
Royal Caribbean will match from $25 - $100 per stateroom for your organization
Let's assume that the donation is $50 per stateroom based on double
    occupancy for a total of 75 staterooms x $50 = $3,750
          Total funds raised = $7,500
The free staterooms can be auctioned off for an additional amount
